Hi, I’m Jess!
A story-driven creative focused on thoughtful, human-centered narratives and targeted content creation for various markets. Early on, my roles as an Assistant Editor and Editor allowed my creative, organizational, and collaboration skills to foster into a growth mindset when approaching projects—keeping the voice of the mission at the forefront of each piece. My Post-Production Coordination experience lends itself to my deep understanding of the post-production workflow and structure, from a more tactical standpoint. Deadlines are hit while maintaining quality and consistency, and support for any collaborators is reinforced when needed. Now as an independent Video Editor, I aim to bring stories to life through captivating cuts, inviting sound design, eye-grabbing color and clarifying graphics. I am fluent in scripted narrative, unscripted interviews, B-roll "explainer" style videos and more. Let's work together to make something special!

Lead Assistant Editor and Editor on scripted marketing content, with improvisation from talent. Supported by Creative Directors and Post-Production manager. Responsible for prep, editing, sound design/mix, color correction/grading and delivery.
Lead editor on scripted marketing content. Supported by AE, Creative Directors and Post Production Coordinator. Responsible for editing, sound design/mix, and color correction/grading.
Lead editor on scripted marketing content. Supported by AE, Creative Directors and Post Production Coordinator. Responsible for editing, sound design (final mix was sent to external engineer), and color correction/grading.
Contracted Editor on short-form marketing content curated for social stories. Responsible for edit, color grade and graphics.
Contracted Editor on company culture series. Fully responsible for editing piece from prep to delivery, including audio mix. Color grade was assisted, due to workload of series.
Lead Assistant Editor on unscripted marketing content. Responsible for prepping and organizing multi-cam/multi-mic sequences, assistance to editor throughout cut, and final delivery, including captions.
